Four Regulators, Four Obligations

The Kotani Pay Regulatory Picture
Section titled “The Kotani Pay Regulatory Picture”Two separate regulators cover two separate legs of the same transaction:
- Mobile money leg (UGX → farmer MTN wallet): Bank of Uganda NPS framework via MTN Uganda’s BoU licence
- Crypto conversion leg (USDC → UGX): FIA VASP framework — Kotani Pay is FIA-registered
Both must be confirmed active before Phase 1 mainnet.
